Merry Christmas!

I had some Christmas Carolers come to my house last night. I was really funny! Some of the youth group girls from my church went out Caroling with gloves, hats and scarves on ......and it was a really hot day yesterday.

We had our daughter's kindergarten open house today!

She got to take her school supplies to her room and meet her teacher.

Even though this is really hard for Mike and I, we did have a nice time.

Her teacher is really nice.

She was so excited to go!

Her backpack is bigger than she is!!

School starts this week and I am feeling a little bummed:(

Our home is going to be really really really quiet without her.

(at least until we get our baby home....then there might be some crying)

I have been thinking a lot about home schooling......

we'll see how this goes??????

I'm not sure I could "do it all".........

home school our 5 year old, give attention to our 2 year old and

bond with our new baby?????

Have I told you....

......that we are IN LOVE with a baby from Ethiopia!!!!!!

We can't wait until our feet are on this path.

This is the path that will lead us right to our princess!

We can't wait to touch, hold, kiss and smell her! The more pictures and video we get, the more in LOVE we are! Mike had a tear in his eye this week and I asked what was wrong and he said "I really wish we could bring her home"....I love it that he loves her so much!!!!

Look What Came Today!

No, we are not leaving this month...but it was still really exciting to

get our travel packet in the mail today!!

I can't wait to look through it tonight.

This will give us an idea of how to prepare (for travel) to bring our baby home.

It's always so exciting to get a packet from our adoption agency!!!!!
