OK, I think we better get a referral soon....I'm going NUTS nesting! We are open to siblings under the age of 5 of either gender.......we could get twin 3 year olds or a baby and a four year old, a boy and a girl, two girls, twin babies, or a single baby ect. ect. ect. We have no idea how to prepare but are feeling the need to start preparing.
So here is where we are getting crazy...We bought another twin bed for in our daughters room just in case we receive a referral of a toddler girl.
This weekend my mom found a used crib really cheap and it matches the crib we already have for your son....so what the heck, lets buy it!!!! So we did.
Today we went to a furniture store, just to look around and the salesman said to us "I have a really good deal for you, if you don't mind fixing a bunk bed." (It's a twin over full) Well, my husband is a farm boy and can fix anything.........We bought the bunk bed.
So right now we can sleep.....
TWO infant in the cribs and FIVE older children between the two twin beds and the bunk bed.
SEVEN children!!!!! Man, would that be a FUN house!!!
We might be short on bathroom space!
If we don't get a referral soon......who knows how many beds we'll have in this house.

You are going to have plenty of room! Does siblings mean just two?????? God pour down some referrals. This girl is going crazy!
Amy
I was wondering on the sibling thing too, are you limiting the number of siblings to two or three? I know a family that is bringing home a sibling set of 4 that took so long for someone to claim them as there own! I just couldn't imagine but do pray to adopt again!!!

I'm cracking up right now. I love it! Come on referrals!

You just make my day. But I understand what you are going through but in a smaller scale. I know I am having an infant baby but I don't know the sex. I almost start shopping cloths for boths sex and different ages. I think is the long wait without any movement what is making us go crazy.
Hahaha! So when you get your referral of 7 children is your handy husband going to add a bathroom?!? Can't wait to hear all the details about your kids!! Hoping it is soon,
Autumn
I love it! I have felt like a professional bed buyer myself preparing for our kids to come home.
Maybe this is a sign for one baby and twin toddlers!
Come on, referral!!!
Dude! You are seriously prepared! :)
Seven kids!!!! Holy cow, you ARE going crazy. I just know you are getting the next referral. I just learned that there are only 4 families now waiting for travel. We'll probably have to wait until June, but if you get a referral soon, you can travel with us. That would be so much fun!
You are hilarious! The nesting thing is crazy but so real!!! Can't wait to hear of your referals!!!

I was wondering, I saw the crib in the back of Mike's truck and I have been waiting for an update
I love it. I can't wait to see how God fills your home.
How many chilren are you approved for?
I love it that you are open to whatever God's will is. You are SO close!
Hi there - thanks for the comment! You are too funny with all your beds!
~Dawn
p.s. your kids are adorable!
Hi! Time is flying, hunh!?! I'm not QUITE ready for number two, but maybe soon. It is warm here! That's been nice, but I can only imagine how warm it will be here this summer if its this hot already. We went to a parade today in Winchester w/ TJ's family and it was in the mid 80's. It was almost too hot!
You guys are getting close to expanding your kids!!! We are so excited for you to get your call!
We haven't set our date for this summer... I think it might be too soon to come back. What do you think? I just think that since the kids have a new pastor, that it may be better to wait... and I have to be OK coming back here too. We just aren't sure.
We miss you guys lots! Kiss your kids for us!
MICHELLE,
thinking of you today and this week and REALLY praying the referrals come!!
karen
I feel you. I can't believe is going to be almost to months without referrals after being to close to have them. It is scary. I was like you, anxious, then calm and now I have a mix between scare, anxious and calm that I don't understand. I am not ready for another ZERO on the bi-weekly report but we are not looking good. The only thing that we can do is continue praying and waiting for God's timing.
Hi Michelle! Thanks for your message...I just emailed a friend about your blog b/c her and her husband are starting the adoption process of getting siblings from Africa and they have 2 children of their own in similar ages and genders to yours. It will be neat if you guys get a chance to connect. I hope all goes well for your growing family! :)
