"But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day." Habakkuk 2:3
What a big day! How is mom holding up with having her off at school? I have a feeling that day will come for my daughter all too soon. I'll be excited to hear her report of how it went.
It looks like she did great! To answer your question, we haven't officially started homeschooling but I do very basic work with our 3 1/2 year old. We do lots of reading and practice spelling and tracing numbers, books on tape, music and dance ect. Normal kid stuff really. Very basic. I may start phonics with her soon.
I can hardly believe she is that old!!! I remember saying, "I can't wait until she can carry on a conversation with me!" And now look at her! Its hard to believe!!! So did you cry after you got home? How did your little guy do with all of the attention!?!
Tell the big Kindergartner that we love her and that we are proud of her!
What a great way to remember the first day of school. All of you will treasure these pictures and this post...I am gonna have to talk to me mum about why she didn't have a blog and such when I was a lass.
I'm so glad you did this -- now I can remember our daughter's first day this way too!! Wait's going well. we got new pictures yesterday from Charissa and I just wanted to reach through the computer and grab him and squeeze him. Hope y'all are doing okay too.
She is precious!! Oh, this brings back memories of my 15 year old girl's first day of kindergarten...way before blogging! Watch out time flies! Great pics...she'll be getting to bring baby sister for show and tell soon! :)
so cute! i love the picture of her holding up the sign. kindergarten is so much fun. once they are in school i think you become the mom that stops other moms with babies in the grocery store and tells them to "enjoy it while it lasts!"
i'm glad you still have a buddy at home and another one coming.
She's so cute!!! Tomorrow for us! I set out the outfit(Hello Kitty) and everybody is ready. We got pm kindergarten and I am Thrilled with a capital T. 1015am to 225pm. One more year of "sleeping in", yea!!!!!!! Ok, yes, September is going to pretty much suck. No news, no movement, no pictures, etc. I have not done the birth mother or album. After reading people's posts about their birth family meeting, I just seriously want to curl up and cry for a very long time. The thought of it is just horrible to me. I simply cannot imagine giving up my child for adoption. We are almost done with his room and after serious threats from me to Rob, we have picked a name!!!!! So that's been keeping me busy. I'll call you this week and we can brainstorm!!
