This is right when we walked through the gate!!
We are at HH!!!!!!!
I can't believe she isn't crying in this picture.....
she bawled right when she saw us.
Here is Mike holding our daughter for the first time.
She was so sad. His heart was broken for her.
He was teary eyed while he prayed over her.
Me feeding her a bottle...trying to get her to calm down:(
My heart was breaking for her.
Trying to calm her down again.
Check out that laundry.....and that's not all of it!

Oh, we miss you too!! What a great time. And can you believe she was just loving on you by the night time? So great talking with you the other day.
These are such great pictures! I don't know why but your blog wasn't showing up on my reader so I am just now catching up with your last three posts! Love the pictures and hearing about your trip!
SO SWEET!!!!
Was she just overwhelmed?
HOw old is she again??
What a little LOVE. I love seeing the pictures. Did you meet Rosa at the hotel?

I love all your pictures! What an amazing journey you have been on. Poor baby girl...can you imagine what goes thru their little minds? She is just beautiful! Maria
I can't believe she cried so much! And I am so impressed that you weren't upset by that. I'm not sure how I would've handled it. But yay that she's home -- and smiling so much!
More pictures, please!
Those pictures are so sweet, thanks for sharing. Your Christmas pictures are really cute also. It is so fun to see your sweet family and hear more about your trip!
Great pictures. My R was so scared when we were in Ethiopia, too. I didn't realize it at the time b/c she didn't cry much, but I can see it in her eyes in the pictures. Looks like she is happy now! :)
Oh my...I would love to pick your brain about meeting your baby. It just breaks my heart to see her so sad, but she looks wonderfully happy in the recent pics. How old is she?
It is so good to have you home safe and sound with this precious baby girl. She is such a smart baby, isn't she? She knew she was experiencing something big when she met you.
Oh, michelle, I love them! I can't wait to be there and hold my guy. Only 2 1/2 weeks!
That's so hard when they're so upset. You guys were so wonderful in the way you comforted her! Love seeing the pictures!!
Love the pictures and the recap. It breaks my heart to hear how sad she was. What a emotional journey adoption is.
WOW, these are so precious! It's awesome to see photos of HHE, always near and dear to our hearts. Thanks for sharing these photos. Beautiful!
Love all your pictures, that is a great one of the hotel!
Praying that bonding is going well and that you are feeling like a family.

Your baby is gorgeous!!!! It makes me want to go to Ethiopia too:O) My friend Natalie adopted from there last year and we are absolutely in love with our little neice Ruby!!!
You're right, we DO know Rob and Donalee!!! We got to meet them while we were in Kaz. They had just come back to get their little boy Ethan. He's such a beautiful little boy. I wanted to kiss his sweet cheeks:O)
I am sure that I have been on your blog sometime before. Probably back before we traveled, because I've barely had time for anything but homeschool and Alea since we've been home. I love it though, and wouldn't trade my life for anything in the world. Well, maybe for a good cup of coffee early in the morning, Ha ha!! It's nice to finally meet you. Enjoy your sweet girl now that you are home. Congratulations!! ~Jenn
Hi....
We did travel with Amy. I am so proud of her, she had such a battle going on, as her baby was so very sick. She is an amazing girl.(her sis-in-Love, Kelly, is pretty amazing too...do you know them?)
How are all of you doing? Can't wait for more updates on how things are going.
We picked up some bug on the plane...one day home and the baby and I were both sick. Fever, coughing, congestion, icky runny nose...now a stomach thing....I skipped church this morning to rest, finally feeling better this afternoon. Hope it is the end of it. Not a fun way to start, but we definitely had lots of bonding time, as we never left the house!
