Expecting!

We had Christmas for my husbands side of the family yesterday. Both of my sister-in-laws are pregnant (both due in Jan. within one week of each other). We thought it would be fun to take "pregnancy" pictures. We didn't know what to do for me since my baby is not growing inside my tummy (but is growing in my heart). My daughter had gotten a "baby" (doll) for Christmas and we thought it would be fun to use that. Here is a picture of all three of us "expecting" mothers! I can't wait to see what next Christmas will be like with 3 new little ones.

That's a cute picture :-)

Bjorn vs sling... You know... I used a bjorn with my other babies but I love the sling!!! I also heard it's better for them. Who knows. I just think they are cute (haha) but my friend uses one and i just love how it pulls the baby so close to you.

Our little one will hopefully be little when we get him so I think it'll be neat! PLUS... the bjorn doesn't seem to last too long (meaning they grow out of it so fast).

Tim is SO funny... he's a great guy. You have to see the homeschool video. We homeschool (so does Tim's family). It's HILARIOUS!

Hey,

We are an AGCI family, we saw your comment on our friend's blog. Our friends are from MT and we saw your comment about being almost neighbors and thought We'd say hi and let you know we are also in MT. I love the preg picture, this reminds me of something my friends and I would do.

Merry Christmas to you! We are wanting a little boy, we have a 20 month
old little girl now. We are still in the dossier/homestudy process, so the
waiting list still seems like a while away. It is fun to watch other
people's stories and it gives me hope that we will soon be waiting for our
little boy. You can check out our blog at www.outdrsycple.blogspot.com

Hi! I love your preg pic. I am also the only (currently)childless girl in both my family and my husband's. We're also adopting through AGCI. I'm glad you're bloging!

Love your picture. Don't worry. I am also new in this and maybe i did something wrong and that's why is so difficult. The CIS office of Tampa told me that we should receive the letter in two weeks, so I am expecting it during this week or the next one. Our dossier was ready to go to Washington but Julie was waiting for a state letter that because of the holidays never came. Hopefully will go this week. We want a boy or a girl between 0-12 months. That will be great if we get to travel together. We are not taking our other kids to Ethiopia. Where do you live? What age are you requesting? How long is supposed to take the CIS letter for you? Please keep in touch.

Michelle,

Yes... we won't hear until after the court date. So we will not know when it is happening... which at first I wasn't crazy about that but I understand why they do it.

No is not the normal process but the lady from Tampa office is very nice and when you call or email she always answer to you right away with your status. I called her on Monday and she called me yesterday to let me know my status.
