SERIOUSLY!!

I talked to our senators office yesterday (for the third time) and they contacted the USCIS office (immigration office) and were told we might get our FDL next week. This is the third time we have been told we would be getting it soon and the past two times it did not happen. Seriously, I will be shocked if we actually get our FDL next week.

Waiting (un)patiently,
Michelle

Hi Michelle,

I got your post on my blog, nice to meet you too! We are in exactly the same spot, waiting for that darn letter. I only sent in my home study to CIS last week, so I may be in for the same wait as you. Let's follow each other's progress. Jana

This SAME thing happened to me when we adopted Braeden from Guat. I was at the END of my rope and one Saturday morning, it was there! It WILL come and TRY really hard to not think of it. (The whole watched pot never boils thing)
Praying for you!

Praying this morning that your FDL will come this week!! (Uhhh, today is a holiday, isn't it?!?!) Only if you are adopting, waiting for your FDL, do you learn to despise non-mail days! Hoping for tomorrow!!!

I'm sure your patience is running out! Just remember, your paperwork has to line up perfectly with the child/ren chose for you. It has to be just the right number in line so God can match you with your kiddo(s). It is a timing thing....God has perfect timing. Even when we don't think so:) I just know that God's timing and will is EVERYTHING in adoption!

Blessings to you!

Ugggg, that is so hard! I do feel for you, but there has to be a reason for the delay:) Who knows, maybe you will look back on this time and laugh about all the hoops you had to go through! At least the wait is well worth it!!!

Michelle,

Have you heard anything yet? I'm so anxiously waiting for good news from your family. Let's see, it's February 23rd...so that's 9 days since your last post.
